Reflexology Association of Canada - Foot Reflexology Certification Courses

I would like to introduce you to the Reflexology Association of Canada. The association offers a foot reflexology course as well as other courses once students are certified.  The ear and hand reflexology classes build on information learned in the foot class. The Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) issues certificates when the written and practical exams are passed.  Opportunities for advanced curriculum are available to certified practitioners; the twelve advanced modules are home study.

Foot reflexology classes are covered over 12 weeks on Thursdays in Windsor at Absolute Chiropractic Wellness Centre.  Class begins at 6 p.m. and we finish at 9 p.m.  I have scheduled more than the mandatory 35 hours of classroom time. There are 15 hours of credited homework with a workbook that is provided. I suggest that you spend time doing reading and research as well. Scheduled time between classes allows students to strengthen fingers, get practical experience and complete homework. The manual and workbook are included as well as a page size colour chart, other charts are available. The written exam is a few weeks after the last class day. The practical exam is done within a year, once the sixty sessions of the practicum are completed.

Foot reflexology fees including class, manual, workbook, membership in RAC, joining fees, exam fees, and GST, are $1112.50 Payments of all funds are made out to the Reflexology Association of Canada by certified cheque, money order, Visa or MasterCard to the RAC office. Then call their office to register at 1 877 722-3338 by credit card or mail the registration and a certified cheque or money order to the office allowing for mail and processing before the class begins.

I have been practicing reflexology for 5 years and I am new to teaching reflexology, although I have two years experience as a teacher’s assistant at the University level.  I contract with the association to teach their foot reflexology courses.  I am the owner of Fusion Holistics Reflexology in Windsor and I have a full practice.
